This morning the temporary chain link fence was relocated to the west curb-line of the 100 block of Aurora Street allowing two north bound lanes of traffic. The intersection is controlled with all-way stop signs. There are orange traffic cones marking a pedestrian path along the re-located fence on the west side of the street.

This traffic control will remain in place until the middle of next week while contractors continue to build and paint the “permanent” building enclosure for Simeon’s. Upon completion of the permanent building enclosure the temporary building enclosure and fencing will be removed. This will open the sidewalk to pedestrians in front of Simeon’s to Aurora Street.

The street lights on the east side of N. Aurora Street are now working again.

NYSEG and Commons construction will continue in the vicinity requiring short term re-routing of pedestrians and motor vehicles.
