The Bernie Milton Pavilion floor is poured making the concrete on Bank Alley nearly complete. There are three areas that will not have concrete: areas on the west and east sides are planting areas for red bud trees, and the area on the east side closer to State St is the home of the possible future water feature.
200 BLOCK OF EAST STATE ST
Concrete work is now moving to State St. There are four planter areas in the 200 block. The first planter area curb has been poured on the south side in front of Madeline’s. Once the four planter areas are installed, the existing sidewalk will be removed in preparation for the concrete slab on the 200 block.
As the planter areas are prepared, the sidewalk will be narrower but passable. Please be careful and respectful of other pedestrians on the sidewalk, and please remember that biking on the Commons is not allowed.
There is a lot to see as the finish work unfolds. If you have questions and / or want a tour, please contact Tammy Baker, Project Outreach Coordinator, 607-220-8425 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
